This is a pretty funny video that my friend showed me.

Never Get Attached
Today my English teacher told the class that she was going to be leaving very soon.
Last year my first English teacher was pregnant and was going to leave in about three months. She left, and the next teacher came in. She was here for about four and a half months. Then she left because she wouldn't be able to work at our school next year and she got a better job in the city. So teacher number three comes in and teaches for the rest of the year.
Evaluation: Overall year was actually pretty good. No homework. At all.
1. She was okay. She was a little boring, and had a mushy gushy mind. (Due to baby in belly?)
2. My least favorite. She was way too into the creativity stuff. Draw this, draw that. And the one book that we did read while she was teaching us was Fahrenheit 451. We didn't even finish the book because every single day we debated about television.
Don't get me wrong, I love to debate, but she was very bad at understanding. Not much depth. (Harsh?)
3. My favorite. She was down to earth, understood our situation, and was lenient because we had a "rough year".
Now this year my first teacher was pregnant and stayed for about three months. She then left and my current teacher comes in. She now says that she is leaving because she won't be able to teach here next year, so she can get a better job someplace else.
Evaluation: Not as good as last year.
1. Crazy. (I have English first period.) Way too loud and obnoxious. And is obsessed about dehumanization. Grades critical lens essays by how you define the quote. Crazy.
2. Better. She is a better first period teacher and understands my point of view. Grades critical lens essays by how you support your definition of the quote. (The correct way.)
Unbelievable.

Sorry!
Alrighty. Let'sa go!!
-At this very moment I am in the library and there is a group a small children. I'm a little freaked out. They're taking up all the tables.
-As most of you know we got a baby corn snake a while ago. I'm trying to get a picture so there will be one soon. And we have chosen a name for the snake: Fiona.
-Out of the few times Fiona has egested/excreted, twice it has been on Mom.
-I just recently finished writing a research paper for social studies. The whole thing (title page, bibliography, actual paper, etc.) is (I think) 13 pages. It made me want to cry. It's 40% of my third quarter grade. Joy.
-There's this pretty cool website that has SAT practice questions. So you all have fun with that.
-IF ANYONE DOESN'T ALREADY HAVE TICKETS TO THE PASTA DINNER ASK ME!
-Okay. Now I know what the kids are doing in the library. They wrote books and the high school students are illustrating for them.
-We're going to start Of Mice and Men very soon in English.
-List of my classes in order of awesomeness. Greatest to least.

- Science (What can be more fun than learning about LIFE?! And I have the BEST teacher in the world)
- Math (I'm sorry, but I LOVE proofs.)
- Social Studies (It's fine. My teacher does this thing where he makes the history sound more story like so that's good. But now we're going to start learning about the industrial revolution and WWI. And I think WWI is one of the most boring wars ever. But I did learn about it in 8th grade with the worst teacher ever. We'll see.)
- English (Depressing. I have it first period and nobody is awake, but I don't think it would make much difference.)
- Spanish (Boring teacher. Poorly made quizzes.)
Chorus is somewhere in there. My teacher is pretty cool, but my classmates are obnoxious.
-I think I'm allergic to spring.
-Abstract "art" is NOT art.
-I just sneezed.

Finally a Smarty Pants
I'm going to be in Honors Chemistry next year. I finally get into one. I've actually turned down two other honors classes: English and global studies.
Interesting.
Whoops
Interesting.

My life depends on the sweets!
For Tuesday night activities I think the young women are going to make THE BEST cookies EVER.
They're called... ALFAJORES. They are the most delicious cookies ever. I could eat them everyday. I can't describe how the taste because I can't remember. All I remember is that they are the best thing ever invented.
I probably won't share.

Amazing
I love looking at notebooks that I had used for school. The books from elementary school are pretty hilarious. So I was reading a notebook from 5th grade and came across this:
Stand tall, stand proud
Voices that care are crying out loud
And when you close your eyes tonight,
Feel in your heart how our love burns bright.
So now I think that I was a kid genius. This is one of the most amazing things that I have ever written. Then I start to think about it, and think it might be a little too brilliant. So I type the whole thing into Google, and I come up with the lyrics to "Voices That Care".
You can imagine my disappointment.

Did you miss me?
Sorry I've been away. I've been busy? So yeah.
What happened to me over the break and other stuff:
What happened to me over the break and other stuff:
- My glasses will never be fixed. The guy "fixed" my glasses. Then I put them on my head and they broke again. We take them back to the store, and a different guy fixes them. And they break. Don't go to BJ's for your glasses.
As for the actual glasses man, I hope I never see him again. Basically he was really bored because not only was he a glasses man, but he was a matchmaker too! The worst part was when I had to tell him my number... backwards. I had to tell him ####-###-(###) I had to say dash and all that stuff. I wanted to die. - I got a snake! It's a baby corn snake that I got from PetCo. It's white/orange/red and it's a girl. I haven't figured out a name yet. Any suggestions would be LOVELY.
- I have a lovely cold/flu/pneumonia/strep and I'm living off of Airborne Gummies and cough drops.
- I think the stake choir did a very nice job. Except for the till we meet song. Everyone kind of sang there own version of that. I could have sworn the congregation thought we were crazy. It didn't sound much like singing. More like mur-mur-ing. (mur mur mur mur)
- My room is only half a mess.
- I can't wait until the next break. When is that?
- There might be snow/sleet tomorrow.
- When I type it's doing this weird overlapping thing where if I have to go back and change a word it deletes what I did after that.
- I have a terrible but wonderful memory. I can remember what I was for Halloween 8 years ago, but I can't remember what happened on Friday.
- Seminary is WAY too early.
- I'm always less sick during the day than in the morning and bedtime.
That is all.
